With the recent release of Flux 2 by Black Forest Labs, we’re thrilled to share that we had the opportunity to successfully optimize the model. From its original 110GB version requiring a B200 and generating images in about 10–11 seconds, we went down to a model that fits on a single H100 and runs 4.2× faster, as we detailed in our previous blog post.

To celebrate it, we’re launching the Flux 2 x Pruna Contest in collaboration with BFL and Replicate. If you want to ensure you’re all set before joining in, read all the information.

• Contest duration: from November 27th (time of posting) to December 5th (23:59 CET).

• Themes:

  1. Fluxing in Christmas — Create a festive holiday scene reimagined through the creative lens of Flux 2.

  2. The Trio: Pruna × BFL × Replicate — Represent Pruna, Black Forest Labs, and Replicate joining forces to push the boundaries of AI creation and optimization.

  3. Green and Accessible AI Future — Illustrate a future where advanced AI is accessible, inclusive, and thrives together with environmental sustainability.

  4. The Cutest Thing — Depict the cutest thing ever!

• Winners announcement: December 17th

• Prizes: 150€ for the winner of each category + 100$ free Replicate credits.

How to Participate

It’s very easy! Here’s a simple breakdown of the steps you’ll need to follow:

1. Create a post including your image generated with any of the Flux 2 models using BFL or Replicate and mentioning the selected theme.

2. Include in the thread a screenshot that shows and proves you have used the model and any of the platforms.

3. Follow the Black Forest Labs, Replicate, and Pruna AI accounts in X.

4. Join our Discord. If the account name is not the same, include it in the thread.

5. Mention us and add the hashtag #flux2xprunacontest.

Contest Rules at a Glance

• The content format should be an image.

• Any account can only participate once.

• Entries must be created specifically for the contest.

• No offensive or plagiarized content.

• Participants must follow any of the proposed themes.

• Once announced, the selected winners must contact Pruna AI via DM on X.

Judging Criteria

• Popularity: Public engagement will be the main factor in determining the winner.

• Judge’s Evaluation: The judging panel will review the entries based on:

  • Technical quality (lighting, sharpness, clarity, fidelity)

  • Adherence to the theme

  • Creativity and originality (uniqueness, composition)

  • Style (aesthetics, colors, overall feel)

If a tie occurs, an additional board member will review only the tied entries and cast the deciding vote.

Additional Considerations

• To participate, you should be at least 18 years old.

• Winners will be announced publicly on December 17th. For security reasons, the selected winners must contact Pruna AI via DM on X. The deadline to reach out is December 31st at 23:59 CET. If no message is received by then, the prize will no longer be considered.

• We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates the rules, engages in unethical behavior, or attempts to manipulate the results.

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to technical failures, platform outages, security breaches, or unforeseen events.

• By submitting an entry to the Flux 2 x Pruna contest, participants grant us the right to use, share, and publicize their submitted content, with appropriate credit provided.

• Decisions made by the organizers and judges are final and not subject to appeal.

• In the event of a conflict regarding the interpretation of the rules, the organizers’ interpretation will prevail.
